Help Google Widget Stoped Working

I have a Galaxy s6 and like a week ago my Google widget just stoped working. Like i can type stuff in but it just wont load anything. Can someone please help??

By google widget, do you mean the search bar? If so, you should check for updates in the play store as failure to keep the google app updated can sometimes cause it to stop working.

If this does not work, try restarting your phone.

my chrome search was working but not in my google search bar it wouldn't do anything when i typed something in , after reading a couple years of comments and solutions i just turned my phone off and then rebooted and now it's working fine.
