After upgrading to latest S5 software, lollipop, I can no longer zoom and pinch on Google pages. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi, I don't know if this is what yo are looking for, but if you open Chrome, touch the three dots on the right top of the screen, touch "Settings", scroll down to "Accessibility", check the box for "Force enable zoom". Phil
p.s. There is also another setting, go to "Settings", scroll down "Accessibility", touch "Vision", and make sure "Magnification gestures" is set to on.

I have "Force enable zoom" enabled. Can't find "Vision" under "Accessibility".. Pinch and zoom still don't work.
 
Your firmware will be very different to the stock Lollipop then, that is probably why you don't have the same menu items as I do, sorry maybe someone with Verizon Lollipop will be along to help. Phil
 
I am on Verizon and can pinch and zoom in chrome. I didn't have force enable zoom turned on either. I didn't have to do anything after the update so don't know what to say. I don't see anything for magnification gestures. I use dolphin browser so not to familiar with chrome. Mary

Verizon wireless has android forums so you might check there to see if anyone else has this problem. Do you have the latest updates for chrome? Mary
 
Weird, I can do it either way. I guess take it to verizon and see what they say. Post back when you find out. Mary
 
After choosing a pic from images, I have to go to 'view image' to be able to pinch or zoom. Before lollypop I was able to pinch or zoom on an image without the extra step of 'view image'. I guess I'll get used to it. Thanks for everybody's input.

What did Verizon say? When I go to my gallery I can double tap and image and pinch and zoom there no problem. Mary
 
That is what the experts at Verizon said. I have to choose 'view image' from the three dots menue below the image. That brings up the image in a different window that can zoom or pinch.
 
Ok that is weird. I don't have to do that after the update. I just click an image in my gallery and pinch and zoom same as I always coukd. Wonder what is different in your phone. Mary

Is this from the gallery? I don't have any dots below an image when I click it. Just 3 dots in the upper right and I don't see any where it says view image. Maybe I am not understanding where you are talking about. Mary
