When I was first setting up my phone, it asked me to sign in using my google email account. I didnt have one at the time, so i quickly made up an account and the phone remembered it. I have since made another account and much rather use the newer account. I tried to log into googleTalk and its logging me in under the first account. So my question is....how do i get the phone to erase the first account from its memory?

Hi their 
Theirs 2 ways :
1) A factory reset which will delete everything on the phone to how you first got it
2) Go to settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> Wait for it to load and scroll to Google apps -> select it and press the "clear data button" -> go back and now scroll to gmail & gmail storage -> on both clear the data
Now go to the marketplace and it will allow you to sign in with your new account
