GOP Word Cloud

As you say, it's clearly biased since the research was done in conjunction with the Democratic party, but it is fascinating how closely it fits with the research discussed on the other thread about conservatives primary motivations.

What's amazing to me is that they feel the democrats are winning everywhere: seems to me that the Democrats have caved at almost every GOP demand over the last 5 years. Even the great right wing bug bear, Obamacare was actually a GOP policy that was watered down again and again in a failed attempt to win cross party backing. Strange how different things look from the other side.

It definitely would be interesting to see something similar done with democratic leaning people.

Obamacare was Romneycare before that.

I do agree, this also coincides with personal experience in debating against neo-Conservatives (that should be the term we're using with the GOP, not conservative) and GOP members on forums or in person. Everything is based on fear, paranoia, and might-have-beens. Which isn't much different from the Democrats/neo-liberals in this country, again, in my personal experience. This is with the acknowledgement that my sphere of experience is fairly small, as I've only been to most of the US, some of Canada, and part of Mexico.

After the week long government shutdown, the democratic process and America's leaders are still stalled, bickering and unable to fully attend to the needs of the country.
