Got a bit of a long-winded problem.

I've decided to use an app called DoubleTwist to sync music from my iTunes onto my phone because my iPod has run out of storage space. So I bought a 32 gigabyte Micro SD card and plugged it in. Then I rooted my phone, and used an app called Root External 2 Internal (the guide is titled "How to Use a Micro SD or SD Card as Internal Storage on Any Android Device (not emulated storage)" on youtube. New users can't post links unfortunately) to successfully swap my internal memory for the SD Card. I did this because my music collection wouldn't fit on the stock 8 gig internal memory.

But here's where it gets tricky; whenever I plug the phone into my computer it reverses the memory swap, so DoubleTwist syncs the music to the internal memory. When I access the DoubleTwist app on my phone it tells me there's a memory card error, and when I use External 2 Internal to swap it back, DoubleTwist can't find the music, because it's on my internal memory.

I've been stumped trying to think of a work-around. I was hoping maybe you guys could think of one.

The computer isn't reversing anything, it's seeing the memory as it really is. The stuff you do to swap them only affects the phone. You can't make the computer see the swap. Put the music from the computer to the actual location you want it to be.

That's what I would have done if I wasn't extremely picky. I can't stand when songs are titled incorrectly or have .mp3 in their title, or are missing artist names, album names, and especially album art. The only reason I bother with iTunes is because it seems to be the only way to transfer large amounts music without mucking it all up. If you've ever tried to transfer 1100 mp3 files onto an mp3 player that isn't an iPod, you'll know what I'm talking about. It's bound to screw a bunch of it up.

DoubleTwist seems to remove that problem though, I just don't have enough internal memory and it won't sync to my SD.

I'm aware that I'm annoyingly particular about this, I just can't have it any other way.
