Got my Droid X today, package of questions inside...

Hello again. I have plenty of questions across multiple topics, so instead of going fishing through all the forums, I thought I'd consolidate it all into one thread, hope that's ok.

So my Droid X finally came in the mail today (much earlier than expected actually, the dealer told me it would probably take 10 days just to be shipped and it was here in less than a week) and right off the bat I can tell it's awesome.

A few things are bugging me, like how it manages my contacts. Adding everyone from my facebook was nice, but I don't know how to put them in my phonebook contacts without re-entering the same number, if they have it listed on FB.

But I'm rambling, so allow me to address some of the things I need answers for, probably things that end up being simple if I just knew the phone (or computers in general) better:

1. I tried to D/L the Verizon media manager, but it only likes 32-bit OS (I'm running Vista 64-bit). So what are my options for ways to add my laptop's music, videos, etc. onto my Droid? (DISCLAIMER: I'm not terribly PC savvy, if it gets into some complex stuff I may need some clarification that will seem obvious)

2. Can someone recommend me some fun, cool apps, preferably of the "free" variety? Some things I'm looking for include a GPS/car navigator, a Shazam or better type of music-id app, and just anything else that sticks out to people as "must-have" Droid apps.

3. Any other subtle little features or tidbits I should look into right away that will optimize my Droid experience?

Appreciate your time, thanks in advance!

Oh also, how do I make it stop opening the Verizon media manager webpage in Firefox every time the phone plugs into my computer?
