Little eye candy out of the box...
Just took the prime out of the box and the dock, they both look very nice. Both seem to be very well built and solid. I can't stand when you can twist something, this is very sturdy.
I took some pics of it next to my ipad 2 to show size. I did not measure thickness, but they look pretty much identical, even though the prime is said to be thinner. I then stuck them on a scale, they came it at the exact same weight. I also weighed it with the dock, it is hard to read in the pic, but it was 2lbs 7.7oz.
I also found a case that I thought would work before it came in, man is it perfect! Length and width are spot on, and it is just thick enough to fit the dock with it. It also has bungee cords that go around the corners for support and a velcro deal to prop it up at different angles. Very simple, and perfect for the prime.
