Root access for the X6 U9000 and its variants is currently possible with Froyo and Gingerbread, dump all your successes and failures here instead of PM me, there is a bunch of other members here that also have Root with the X6 so if i cant reply maybe someone else might step up.
For Froyo root access only you will use SuperOneClick v1.7 and selecting RageAgainsttheCage exploit... link here > [APP]SuperOneClick v1.9.1 (Root, Unroot, Enable Non-Market App) - xda-developers .... Also turn off your antivirus on your PC before you run root as it will say that rageagainstthecage is a virus and remove the exploit you need, it is NOT a virus.
