Help Goto URL on homepage? Tip? Trick?

Does anyone know how to add a goto URL direct, much like the google search right on the homepage? Even a quicklink will work for now. I have any task installed

Takes 5 clicks to enter a new URL with phone off. Would be nice to be much less.

you don't need any app for this one...

goto you desktop - press and hold in an empty space - once a new window pops up click "shortcut" - "bookmark" - select the bookmark and its done.

Oh I know how to add a bookmark. I was hoping to just type in the URL, like the google searh bar.

If you install a bookmark, you still have a couple more clicks to type in new URL and if something is there ... PIA.

Remember, not everything has already been surfed. URL's on billboards, TV etc ... something for quick input.

This has probably been answered, but this was high on search ranking, and was left unanswered.

Push menu button and enter button and it will goto url instead of searching for that url.
