GPS based text messages?

I am looking for an app that would automatically send a text message based on a GPS location. The reason for this app is because I am a vanpool driver and it would be great if I could notify my riders when I am getting close to their house so that they are waiting for me when I pull up. Much better than having to honk my horn and then wait!:oAny help would be greatly appreciated!
 
Maybe you're looking for something like "Glympse" ? Only thing is, they would also need to have Glympse I believe, or I think at least a phone with GPS.
 
Thanks for the advice, but that is not exactly what I want. I want something that I do not have to push to send something...I want it to automatically detect my location and once I reach a certain location then it sends a text message to someone that I have preprogrammed. I could make Glympse work, but it is not ideal. Thanks though!
 
If there are any iPhone users that stumble upon this thread, I know there's an app called I'm Nearby that does the same thing on the iPhone. I know the company that is doing development on this product and they will also be releasing an android version of this app in the coming months.

Doesn't exactly help you today if you have an android device, but it's worth knowing :)
