I would appreciate some advice.

I need an app to control my GPS to switch it on when I start an app that needs it and to switch it off when I quit that app.

I am using a non-rooted Galaxy S2 running ICS

Also when using any GPS apps to exit you can either hit the menu key and exit, or if there is no exit button, then you back out of the app with the back button.
