GPS coordinates

Marybrook

Lurker
When I take a photo of a certain location my phone doesn't show the GPS coordinates. All it shows is a Google map of the area and no coordinates. Any idea how to show the coordinates please.
Thanks
Cheers Marybrook.

I don't recall the coordinates being shown on the maps of any app that I have used.
The info is buried inside the pictures of course, or the maps would not be able to locate where that picture was taken.

if you are trying to view the pictures on a Windows PC, there are applications that can pull that info out for you. If I were home on my Win7 Desktop PC, I could give you the link right now

now, if you are looking for an Android solution to show them on the screen, I am lost.
I will keep searching though.

GPS Map Camera - Android Apps on Google Play

Please watch the video to know how to use it.

When you take a picture, this application will paste the google map, address and weather to picture. (GPS latitude/longitude information also be included)

This application is easy to get/set GPS location and GPS coordination for GPS Tag request.

this was the first Google hit that came up with my search terms, and it seems like it should do what you want.

I just installed it and checked it out.

You use it as the Camera and each time you take a shot, it imprints everything onto the picture.
I think it will do what you want.....

for my camera, it printed the info upside down, but I think my camera is configured wrong, a text picture I sent last night came out upside down.
