Just read this. Pretty nice gesture on their part.

I went on the ASUS VIP site and didn't see anything about the dongle :(
The information was leaked ahead of time, which is probably why we are not getting notified on their web page. Gary will give the official word on XDA. Here is his update from yesterday:
I guess the cat is out of the bag in regards to the planned announcement discussed above. I cannot comment officially at this point but will provide a detailed update once released to do so. In addition, if you PM me, please include an email address for contact within your message. It will greatly facilitate receiving an answer.

You can check on XDA right here:Unofficial by Official ASUS Thread - Product Updates - xda-developers He always updates the first post.

It says something about people registering their primes on the said member site. Do we just have to register on vip.asus.com?

This is cool and unexpected (at least by me).

I guess it's time for all the chumps that bad mouth Asus to eat their words. I for one have been using Asus products, motherboard etc. for a long time and they've always been good at customer service. This announcement shows just how much they care about their customers and products. Call me a fanboy if you want but I assure you if I felt unappreciated in any way by Asus I'd be the first one to shout it out.

If this were Apple they would just tell you this is a "feature" like the new iPad battery problem.

Me either but I'm sure they'll have something once it is offical.
