GPS Geotagging for Survey Photos

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone with some experience of Geo Tagging might be able to help to point me in the right direction.

Basically I'm going to be carrying out a survey for some duct routes and I'd like to be able to take photos of the inspection chambers and have these tagged with their latitude and longitude so that we can accurately tell where they're located.

Initially I thought about doing this with a handheld GPS device but I'm now wondering if I might be able to use my Tab Pro 8.4 and take the pictures using that and use geo tagging?

Does anyone have any experience of this and know if it would be as accurate as using a handheld GPS device (Garmin Etrex 10). Also the Tab is Wifi only but I assume this shouldn't make any difference when using GPS?

Any help that people can offer would be gratefully received

Thanks
Stoxy
