Help GPS in UK?

There seems to be a lot of people on the net with problems using GPS on their Ace. I am one of those who seems completely unable to lock onto any satellites. Is anyone here using an Ace in the UK and able to get a GPS fix at all? If so, what version firmware are you using?

My current version is 2.2.1 - PDA:KA9/PHONE:KA6/CSC:KA5(XEU), I can't get a lock at all.
 
I have 2.3.3 and don't have any problem with the GPS. It can sometimes take a little while to lock on though.
 
I'm in the UK and my GPS works a treat. I've never struggled with a lock on yet and it stays locked.
 
Would it be possible for anyone with working GPS in the UK to send me whatever CSC file they'er using? I really would like to get my phone working the way it's meant to.

I have to either be outside or next to the window to get it to lock onto the satellites then it works fine. I have heard it can take a long time when you use it for the first time

gps need a clear view to the sky (no roofs) to work properly try using the gps tool app. after i used this app once my gps seems to lock almost instantly,

use kies to upgrade your phone to the latest firmware its free and easy:D

I can't, I don't have my original stock firmware, nor can I find it online, therefore kies refuses to update my phone, see my other thread requesting original o2 stock firmware.
 
Flash CM7.2 then flash the GPS fix found on the dev section on XDA. locks in 2 seconds!
