GPS Mapping App

Hi there im looking at gettin g a new phone, and this is really the deciding figure between a blackberry, iphone or android device. What im looking for is a gps app sorta like gpsed that can map my tracks and put photos on them, but that stores these maps on my phone not the internet. Also what i would like is to ba able to take a picture with my phone and quickly be able to attatch it to my map. So when i go to this map in zoomed out mode i can see all these tracks (possibly in different colors) and these pins which i can click on and see pics of that location.
Thanks. Brandon

"my tracks" is a good gps app. Not sure if it supports the pics, maybe need a different app for geotagging photos. The good thing about Android is that it's easy for developers to write apps to support these types of things in the future.

HTC Footprints might be part of a solution. You can't make tracks with it, but when you get somewhere, you can take a picture, it gets geocoded and shows up on a map on your screen and you can add voice and text nodes to it as well.

You get a .kmz file (or .kml file inside the .kmz) that you can open up in google earth (for the .kmz) or google maps (for the .kml) and see the pins on the map like you are looking for.

Also regular pics are geocoded. You can also turn on the tracking feature in google maps but does store that data at google not your phone as you requested.
