No GPS map apps are working on my phone. Yes the GPS is turned on. What I don't get is I'm receiving GPS signal and it displays my coordinates etc. but when I use any app with a map or navigation feature I'm either only able to receive map data for a mere few miles away from my location or nothing at all. It wont even attempt to load anything else. If I ask for directions anywhere even 5 miles away it wont even load or for example on google navigation it will just load for literal hours. I've used multiple apps including Sync, Locus, Mapquest, google navigator, backcountry navigator and a few others to see if it was not just the app's problem. What should I do? Send the phone back for faulty GPS? Is this an ongoing problem with androids in general?
