gps navigation with offline maps?

hi
I have a ZTE Racer on the UK 3 Network and would like to know if there are any apps that would let me use gps navigation but the maps must be stored on my phone so I don't have to pay data charges. I am prepared to pay for the app if necessary.
many thanks

I use Navigon (now a Garmin company) with maps on SD card.
For me the best turn-by-turn navigation :)

For a very low cost navigation with free OpenStreetMaps on SD card you could have a look at NavDroyd.

I'm using SYGIC. ($15) I looked and tried some of the others, like navigon, copilot pro, etc.....Sygic works very well for me with the limited time I've been using it. Sygic uses TomTom maps. Free updates, map updates, etc. etc.
