Hi
I have a HTC Desire and am having trouble with the GPS. I can turn it on, it finds me accurately, it gives me directions to where I want to go.
Is there a way to make it talk the directions to me because when driving looking at the screen for turn by turn instruction is impractical and dangerous.
I am using the default Maps (Google) program which comes with it.
I cannot find anywhere to get it to talk the directions to me in its settings. I would like to migrate to this from my standalone GPS if I can get this to work.
I welcome any suggestions for a free alternative from the market that will do this if it can't be done with Maps (Google).
