Help GPS not working

My GPS no longer works. Searches for GPS nonstop. I have downloaded all these gps fix apps, no luckk. Only thing I've done is updated the software. Went in to MetroPCS to have them check it out, but they hooked my phone up to a diagnostic device that took to long to scam my entire phone so i left.

It looks like the firmware update Alcatel pushed has done more harm than good. Maybe try doing a factory reset?

Yeah, they did that at the Metro PCS and still NO GPS or GPS SIGNAL LOST. I've been looking at at various vidoes on Youtube about a similar issues with Samsung s3 phones. I'm at the point where I'm about to take this phone apart and test the indicators.
