Help GPS only in Satellite view?

Is this right with the S3 (or ICS nav in general), when I use the navigation the only views are traffic and then when driving, satellite? It seems the satellite view takes time to grab the real pics vs the older "street drawn out" look with a lot less detail and pics, I think they called it "hybrid" on the iPhone, haven't had a droid in 2 years so not sure if they changed that all.

nope, all stock so far, added a couple of games and stuff

Did you try going in Menu, Layers, and unchecking Satellite?

see, coming from an iPhone crap shit i didnt even think of that because I thought the only choices were traffic OR satellite, didnt even think of selecting sat again to take it off of it, well, we all have our dumbass moments of the day, that was mine. Thank you
