Help GPS poor location and navigation

After JB update my GPS and navigation is unreliable. It began to take 20 minutes to lock on a satellite so I did a factory reset. It now locks faster but while navigating the arrow jumps all over the place causing re routes and poor directions. My navigation is very erratic, even at times the arrow just freezes then it catches back up to where I'm located. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know of a fix?

I'm on VZW network, the GPS is on and Wi-Fi is on too (which is recommended for more accurate location for some reason).

Try going into Settings>Application Manager>all
and find Maps.

clear Cache
clear Data
Uninstall

Then go to Google Play and download and install Maps
That ought to fix your Nav Problems. It did Mine!

Anytime I have issues with GPS taking too long on getting a fix, I just clear the cache and reboot. (on any android phone)
Problem solved. (provided it WAS working fine before)

I have not had any problems with the S3 but i did with my HTC Desire HD however GPS status always fixed it, great app
