GPS Save location on Google Map App

Hi all,

I would like to create a map of the places I have visited to embed in my blog.

Is there any application that allows me to store my location directly on Google Maps?

If not on Google Maps then maybe store latitude and longitude plus a description or title field for later editing?

Google Maps app finds my location just fine but there is NO option to save it.

I am using Samsung Galaxy.

Many thanks in advance

You could try My Maps Editor by Google.

I like Rmaps, the new version supports kml exporting that you could import into Google Maps later.

Using Google Maps, any location can be saved as a "Starred Item", just press the star icon in the upper right corner when you have chosen a position f.ex. your actual with (Menu/My Position). Pick it using (Menu/More/Starred Items)

This should make the Google Maps Address Book superfluous.

Nope, Not on my Google maps. Under More, there is only Clear Map, Terms and Conditions and About. Plus, Google Maps shows my location in Coventry while I'm in London :)

@unl0rd, I'll try Rmaps - My Google maps editor did not work for me
