GPS stops after screen time-out on samsung A5

Hai,

I"am Henry using a samsung A5

The problem I am facing is "stop tracking" for the following apps
Endomundo, sports tracker , Locus map
the apps work with tracking till the screen time-out activates.

This not happened on the Samsung S4

several advice followed but there is no reasonable workaround or solution except keep screen on while tracking.
As the results from Samsung S4 are good there must be a difference between these 2 .

please advice what to do?

Is there a difference between samsung s4 and a5 concerning use gps or is it android?
