I have a total of 4 Sprint Galaxy S2 MODEL SPH-D710 phones all purchased the same time ~ 20 months ago. GPS works great on only 1 of the 4 phones. The other 3 refuse to lock onto satellites. All settings are the same on all phones. When using GPS test no satellites are seen. Sprint wants me to send back the phones to be evaluated (would be without phones for ~10 days). Several times when I try to use google maps to navigate I get a lock but phone won't keep up and lose GPS. Most of the time when trying to use navigation I just get "Searching for GPS". All phones are on Jelly Bean operating system. Any ideas? Have not been able to identify a fix. I'm not afraid to open phone if it is a hardware problem. Sprint nor Samsung have not been able to help resolving problem over the phone. They both tell me they never heard of the problem. Guess they don't read any forums to know. S3's appear to have a hardware and firmware issue that fix the issue with GPS. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!
