GPS works very well

The GPS chip in L70 is very sensitive. I installed an offline Navigation software. The GPS locks location within seconds with data (including Wi-Fi) disabled. My standalone GPS will take one or two minutes to lock the position.

I have found the GPS fast as well, I use Sygic.

I checked Google Maps yesterday. It seems that L70 has a digital compass as well.

Did you uninstall google maps app after you put Sygic on your phone? If so, did you notice anything acting strange like the maps app was linked to other apps?

I keep Google Maps because I want to have traffic available.
