Help Grainy pics

Hi people. I've noticed all the pics I take are somewhat grainy. I've heard prime is supposed to take good pics, but I'm not seeing it. Wondering if mine is defective.*Anyone*else having similar problems? Would love to see some pics and compare with my unit. Also, what is an average file size for pics taken with it? I'm thinking mine is stuck in low resolution.

Mine takes good pictures. Not like my Nikon mind you but good for point and shoot. I tried to attach a picture but it didn't work. Give me a number to text or email address and i will send you a picture.
