grand fathered 25 $ plan

Hi

I have been with VM for last 3 to 4 yrs. I have the 300 min talk/unlimited data text. Currently I am using Optimums V for my phone. The mic on it is going out and no one can hear me. I just called VM customer service to find out which phone can I use besides optimums and I won't have to pay 10 bucks extra. Lady on the phone said that there are no other phones now that I can use and not be charged more. Is that correct? Any one know what other phones I can still use and be in my budge.

Thus is true. No grandfathered phone if offered on Virgin's website anymore, other than the Optimus V. You can still find them elsewhere, like on Ebay or Amazon. Here's a list of grandfathered phones to look for

5) Triumph
6) Rumor 2
7) Intercept
8) Restore
9) Mantra
10) S3000 Loft
11) Optimus Slider
12) Rumor Touch
13) Kyocera XTC

I just transferred my number (three months ago) from my Triumph - which was on the $25 plan - to a new Awe and kept my $25 plan.
