Grandfathered ATT unlimited data account

I am thinking of moving to verizon for the thunderbolt as we have good 4G where I live.

I have 3 months left on my 24 month ATT contract from my Iphone 3gs, I have heard that people can take over an account.

If I found someone to do that do they get to keep my grandfathered unlimited data for 30 dollars?

Is there anything I should worry about when doing that? Is there anyway someone could take over my ATT account and I would still get the bill?

Why not wait 3 months and see what new phones are coming out then. The thunderbolt isnt going anywhere.

yeah the bionic should be out by then if i was u i would wait.

Fear that the 29.99 unlimited LTE 4g data plan will go away before bionic comes out.
