Graphics for Shortcuts

I would like to have photos on my shortcuts for text contacts and phone contacts, but i do not have a facebook page (nor do I want one). Is there some other way to assign a photo to the short cuts?

Do othe contacts you create shortcuts for have photos when you look at them in Contacts application? If they do, they will also have it when you create shortcuts. If they do not have photos, just assign photos to them and then create the shortcuts.
