Greaaat.. I freakin scratched my new Droid Razr Maxx..

So I saw a video on Youtube where this guy got his phone, took a knife.. yes, a knife.. and stabbed the **** out of the Droid Razr Maxx for a couple seconds, showed the screen, and it had NO scratches.



Yet, my phone gets scratched after I drop it ONCE? really? REALLY? There's a line that runs down my phone. There are two. Although, it's not very noticeable, unless you're outside and the sun is shining down on it, it's still very annoying. How can I get rid of these scratches? Should I use toothpaste? I heard that works for minor scratches.. but it sounds like it could cause damage if not done correctly... Someone please help.

Are you sure it's a scratch, and not a crack?

I agree with the above. Are you sure it is a scratch. I have heard of the screen under the glass cracking while the gorilla glass remained in tact. If it is cracked underneath you might be able to warranty exchange the phone.
