First post here as I'm new to Android phones.
Howdy from the North East of England.
I have a few good apps installed and like most new Android users, I am keen to extend the battery life of my phone. 24 hours with me fiddling constantly is fine but it would be great to get more.
After a bit of googling I opted for Green Power Premium.
1st impressions were great. I got 48 hours out of the charge as I also put the phone on flight mode overnight.
My reason for this post.... While the app switches off the mobile data during the day, I seem to have missed a lot of calls, being told it went straight to voicemail. Am I right in thinking I am disconnected from O2 while the phone is on standby in my pocket, meaning I dont get texts or calls?
At the moment I have disabled the data control part and it just manages wifi. This however seems to negate the battery saving benefits.... giving little more then 30 hours per charge.
Am I missing something in the app setup or have I configured it wrong?
Any input is appreciated.
