Root Greenify

So after searching everywhere possible online and checking out the Greenify community page on Google+ I have not been able to find any information on what the Boost feature of Greenify actually does compared to just the Root feature. After you activate the Greenify Module in the Xposed framework you can select the Boost feature in the Greenify settings menu. So my question is does anyone know what exactly does this do ? Greenify settings only list what features can be used but not what the Boost actually does . Anyone have any input on this ? Thanks
