I know this question has been answered in other forums but I read somewhere that Sprint has some special feature (?) wherein the apps are automatically installed on the SD card without rooting, etc. out of the box.
I find that my apps are using internal memory and is there a setting that I am not using or finding?

Its not sprints feature its androids.
And the transform runs on android 2.1, 2.1 = NO APPS 2 SD
In order to have apps 2 sd u must have android 2.2 or root your phone.

Thanks. Was afraid of that but I thought I read somewhere about Sprint phones and saving apps to SD.

Naw, any 2.2 will have it.
If your interested in rooting just say so and ill put up a link.
Its really easy, don't be scared of by rumors of ppl bricking their phones, that only happens to ppl who cant follow simple directions lol.

Thanks speeder. I am not scared of rooting at all. I rooted my G1 and then played to my hearts content with the HD2, trying a new ROM every 3-4 days (LOL).
Moved to Sprint because I was getting a great deal through my employer and like the transform and sprint so far. However, I think I will wait to an OTA update to froyo.
