Hi all,
My name is Tom and I thought I'd do my first post here and end my 'Lurker' status.
I joined this forum because I will soon be an owner of a Samsung Galaxy S2 (AT&T i777 version).

This will be my first smart phone and I'm quite excited. I've been scouring the net doing research for several weeks and thanks to this forum & a couple others (and a gazillion online reviews of god knows how many different phones) I have complete confidence that the phone I chose is the right one for me.

I look forward to participating in the discussions here once I get my phone and learn my way around it. In the meantime I will continue to make good use of the 'search' function here.
