I have a 4G HTC G2 that's performed almost flawlessly and my wife has a MyTouch 3G that needs some help. That's why I'm here.

I've tried iOS and I'm not impressed. Android is much better to use just by virtue of the ever-present back button, yet there are many other reasons, too.

I really haven't delved too deep into phones - I haven't had to with my G2 - but I'm no stranger to trouble shooting operating systems. I run two PCs with Linux that I basically put together from junk, sort of a hot rodder's approach that I take with a lot of things. I hope I can find some good help/advice here.
