Grid wars aka geometry wars

this is my first post so dont flame me yet if i do anything wrong but one night i had gotten really drunk with my friend and we were playing a game i've never heard of call geometry wars on the xb360 and i was so hooked to this game i just couldnt stop, so i started looking for it on the pc, the name they had to use for "legal reasons" was grid wars. may i put if also a very good replica of the game.

controls are very simple, in my case on the pc its just wsad for your ships movement and arrows to shoot. i figured its not a major graphical game and would probably be easy to run on the moto droid. curious if anyone else has thought of this? or if anyone is interested in possibly porting it?

just an idea i had haha. only way i've been able to play was to remotely connect to my pc via phone and play that way haha, but you can guess how it ended. failure.

I'm also looking for something similar to geometry wars. There are some quality games on the android market but almost none that would have the replayability that geometry wars does. Is there a petition for this anywhere?

I thought it was called geometry wars on the pc too? A friend of mine has it, and I'm sure it was called geometry wars. He bought it off Steam.

It's called Geometry Wars. There's also a sequel which is awesome. Seems like it'd be really difficult to play on a touchscreen considering how many enemies fill the screen at one time.

Theres a game called Meteor Blitz out there, it has controls and gameplay almost identical to geometry wars (and only less pretty)
