Groove IP Bluetooth headset On Nexus 7 WiFi(perhaps 3G as well)
Here are the settings I use as a phone replacement using a $10 Emerson BT headset model EM128 from BIG-LOTS stores. (I should mention it comes with a Nexus compatible slow charge 200ma charger for home and car and a charge not sync cable)
Step by step assuming you have Groove IP installed and have successfully made a non-headset call.
Any setting not mentioned is default or unchecked.
Step ONE: press the [...] 3 dots on right top of screen in Groove IP then [SETTINGS] Put a check in [Accept Calls on Answer].
Skip down to [Audio/Echo Settings] go to [Echo Cancellation] choose [Basic Echo Canceler] now go back one step.
Anywhere you find any speaker volumes or Mic Gains set them at midway or 40-50% you might adjust later.
I also check both [Use Contact Ringtones] and [DTMF Feedback].
back out of Audio/Echo settings now.
Open[Troubleshooting] check [audio Processing].
DO NOT CHECK WiFi Tablet!!! Even if your Nexus is WiFi only.
Check [Synchronize Voice].
Next check [Audio Mode Fallback] then go to [Mic Source] in that menu choose (Android Default).
Lastly I have checked [Disable JB Audio APIs]
Set [Miscellaneous] any way you want this should not effect BT calling.
Any improvements? Tell me please.
