Help Group Messaging Issue

Hi all,
I have an LG G4 and I am having an issue with it in group messaging.

Its not a functionality issue, but is an annoyance.

In one of my group messages when you first go into Messaging the Message has a Pencil/ pen next to it and when you open the message to type a new comment/ message there is a line of text already in the outgoing message box.

I have tried highlighting and deleting the text, but it just comes back every time I want to send a new message in this thread.

How can I remove this and how did it even get there to begin with?

Well I never have easy Issues.

I am going to assume that there must be nobody who has experienced this or knows how to resolve it.
& LG is not worth the time it takes to call!!!
