Help Group Mms Text Sent Problems.

Can anyone explain this to me or has this happened to any of you? My phone is a Samsung galaxy S 3 had it for a little over 2 yrs. I once send a group text mms one night to most of my contacts. The next day one of them tells me that their contacts also got the message. I use the handcent app and this hasn't ever happened before. So my guess is it was a setting on my contacts phone. Im not sure....any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's certainly not your device as you wouldn't have access to contact numbers that are on someone else's phone
