Group SMS Distribution List

Searched but didn't come up with much.

I need to be able to add a list of numbers to a distribution list, and all of the numbers are not in my list of contacts (church softball team, not a spammer).

Am I missing something in the stock messaging app, or is there an app where I can easily build a group list so that I can just send quick tests to the group? I don't want to have to add all these people in my contact list, and don't really want to have to type in each number every time.

I don't know if you can do this with the stock messaging app (if so someone tell us how). I use Go SMS as my app. It has the ability to text groups that are created in your google contacts.

The only bummer with this is in order to adjust which contacts are in your group you have to go to the gmail contact list instead of right there in your stock contacts list.
