Help Group Text Messaging

I'm trying to help a friend with a ATT S3. I know, friends don't let friends use ATT network

Anyway, he can't get group messaging turned on. I had him in the settings, and he said the group messaging option to check isn't there. Is that possible????

Yep, basically Group Messaging is currently not built-in feature of the S3 (possibly Android in general, not sure). He'll need a third party messaging app like GoSMS Pro or Handscent. They do group messaging using MMS instead of SMS.

Personally though I recommend using GroupME. You just use the app to set up groups. Once a group is set up anyone can be added to it and they don't have to sign up for anything. Best part is works over data and SMS.
