My GS3 can stream perfectly through my Xbox 360 - I don't even remember setting it up, but when I'm in Gallery, there's the strange 2nd screen icon on top, and if I tap it, I can stream pics and videos. Yay.
But, I haven't had as much success with my DirecTV box, or with my dlna-certified LG Bluray player. I can use the DirecTV box to access pictures, but it's clunky. And you can't browse and choose a specific image to show. And videos don't stream.
Does anyone know if there's a Blu-Ray player that would allow me to control what I'm streaming from my gs3? My plan is to buy a new Blu-ray player - NOT a new Smart TV, which I know would be an option. And yeah, I could move the Xbox 360 from the rec room to the living room, but my wife has rejected that option.
Would a Samsung Blu-ray player be the way to go?
