Gt-p1000 not powering

hi team, i work as a technical support for our mobile customers at Vodafone Ghana and i would like to know;

What causes the GT-P1000 not to power up?
Possible solutions and
Preventive measures.

I would be grateful if you can assist.

Welcome to android forums. There can be tons of reasons for a phone/tablet not to power up. Probably the battery is dead. Plug your phone/tablet to an energy source and try to power it up then.. probably it would work. If not try to change its battery with a new one. Hope it helped you out.

Edit. Also try to reboot by holding Power button and volume switch pushed at the same time for several seconds.. More help HERE
