gtab wallpaper

Hi! I am a nubi and need to learn stuff. Love my new gtab! I went to change desktop wallpaper (long tap blank space) then select wallpaper/pictures. Error message = "(process.com tatntap.home)" stopped working, try later. There has been No Later! How can I get beyond this error and add and change this background?

Also the PDF manual from Viewsonic is very inadequate for learning. Can anybody point me to a good source for one and some basic intro to android as it applies to the gtab? I am a PC Win user and a past linix novice.

Hello and welcome aboard. Restart the device and try again. This type of error usually happens when there is a conflict with an app. I hope you get pass that error message.

No Joy. I have done this 30+ times every time I log in and the same error occurs. Any help beyond keep trying?

Have you checked over at Viewsonic gTablet - Android Forums to see if anyone has any solution to your problem. I know how frustrating it can be...trust me, I know.
