gtalk always connected ?!

hello, I installed gtalk using the .apk cause it wasn't installed by my provider (Orange France)

it works fine.

BUT, even if I kill it using android Taskiller, it seems to be always connected.

could someone help me with that?

Have you tried hitting the menu button -> more -> sign out, while having the GTalk app open?
