Hey guys!

I do apologise in advance - I can imagine that this question has been asked plenty of times in the past. However, I have google searched many times over the last year or so and have come up with nothing.

To save you from reading the entire story - I want to do a full restore/reset on my S3 without wiping my app data.

Two times now I have had to reset my phone due to it crashing over various apps... internet, music player, spotify, candy crush etc... Well here comes the third. I have had 'crashing' issues with my phone for at least two months, this whole time trying to obtain a solution from the internet. Friends say to sync the apps on the phone with Facebook - so I search along the lines of: "backup app data facebook" - nothing.

Honestly guys there must be an easy way to backup app data when doing either a full reset or switching phones. NOTHING is easily accessible online.

I'm a computer geek - but not an android geek - so no "rooting" as some have said.

Seriously guys thank you very very much in advance to your help, I know there must be a simple way for dumb sh*ts like me, however a simple google search just doesn't work.

Adding to the original post - The two times that I had to reset my phone I have lost all app data/progress. I'm so not keen on doing it again.

Depends on the app in question if it can sync to Facebook or Google+. For example I have Clash of Clans. In the settings of the game, there is a Google+ login option. Just use that and it will be backed up. For Candy Crush games, there's a connect to Facebook option in its settings as well.

Alternatively, just use Helium backup from the Play Store.
