For those that haven't figured it out yet and are sick of the MetroPCS logo here is a easy guide to change it.

1. Find your desired boot logo, I recommend using BOOT ANIMATIONS found on the Play Store

2. Use a file manager which has access to system files such as ROOT EXPLORER

3. Rename the desired boot logo to bootanimation.zip (Found in /mnt/sdcard/romtoolbox/boot_animations IF USING THE APP IN THE FIRST STEP)

4. Navigate to /cust/metropcs/us/media

5. Mount R/O options which allows you to modify system files found on on top right in the ROOT EXPLORER app (NOTE: Activates itself in the new version of ROOT EXPLORER)

6. Rename the original bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip1 (if you want to back it up)

7. Copy the desired boot logo to that directory /cust/metropcs/us/media

8. Reboot your device

9. Enjoy
