I play on a My Touch 4g. Okay I been able to play this game for ever fine. I use the face book option to play the game and it connects fine. Here is what is happening My character is level 27 and now when ever I try loading up the store it just closes the App, it also does this when I try to play any level. Weird thing was one day I deleted the app and loaded a level 1 toon and it played just fine but when I loaded up my character through face book I got the same problems again.

i have the exact same problem.
Check if your phone is still supported via the market website. My was no longer supported.
Well I still have market support. I even down loaded then newest version thinking that would possibly fix my problem and no go.
Guys they're going to fix the app for compatibility.
