Guys Please Help I need to know before Feb.18!

I am planning to get the motorola milestone on the release date in Canada (Feb.18). Im still not sure if I should get an Iphone because I currently have an Ipod Touch. My Ipod Touch is half broken because the home button keeps pressing automatically. ( E.g. when I play tap tap revenge, and I tap the screen it exits by itself( I think something is wrong with the hardware) and they said its still in warranty so they'll fix it. I also was thinking to get HTC Magic from Rogers so I can get the Sense ui( big fan of the clock widget) and android 2.1.

Is there a way to do tethering on motorola milestone without rooting?

Is there a root for motorola milestone 2.0.1?

Any opinions would be great.

Ooh and should I wait for Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 to come out in Canada? (Which it will in Q2 of the year with Rogers.

Go with the Milestone, there's always something else you will want around the corner.
The Milestone is great, so go ahead and get it, you won't regret it
